Meet Garrett Cunnington
Founder & Lighting Enthusiast
Garrett is the passionate founder of Loudoun Lighting, bringing years of outdoor lighting experience and a deep understanding of both aesthetics and functionality. He also has a 2-decade corporate background that includes significant roles, notably as an executive at IBM and a financial sales leader. This background, combined with his hands-on experience with installations, gives credibility and fosters a unique relatability with clients. Garrett's balanced perspective seamlessly blends luxury with practicality, which he incorporates into his lighting designs to enhance both beauty and utility.
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Garrett's career journey has taken him through New York, Chicago, and now northern Virginia. He and his wife Carrington love everything about living in Leesburg with their 17-year-old triplets: Amelia, Abigail, and Gabriel. A proud member of the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP), Garrett is committed to delivering excellence in every project. He fosters genuine relationships with clients, ensuring open communication, trust, and transparency from start to finish.
